Project Overview:

AH Fencing was contracted by SJ Higgins to deliver a comprehensive fencing solution for Swinburne Secondary College. This $250,000 project showcased our ability to handle a variety of fencing types, ranging from architectural perforated mesh to 6-meter high football nets, which became a statement piece for the school’s football field.

Scope of Work:

1. Black Chainwire Fencing:
   • 94 meters on the East side, 34 meters on the South side, and 101 meters on the West side with varied heights up to 2000H, custom fixings to the face of the slab.
2. Galvanised Chainwire Fencing:
   • 61 meters of 1800H with 3-barb repairs/replacements where necessary, and 1 x 1m wide x 2.4m high PA gate.
3. Merbau Slat Fencing:
   • 12 meters of 2000H horizontal Merbau slats for bin enclosures, and 1 PA gate measuring 0.92m wide x 2m high.
4. Monument Double Gates:
   • 2 gates measuring 3.8m wide and 2700H with an overhead flat top panel.

Variations:

1. 6000H Black Sports Chainwire Fencing:
   • 48 linear meters with top and bottom rail, and 3.15 wire.
2. Perforated Sheet Infill:
   • Custom design work for undercroft fencing and additional features.
3. Custom Black Cage Framing with PA Gate:
   • For the lid.
4. Demolition:
   • 79 linear meters including disposal of material offsite.
